The credit unit change
In October 2026 your balance and every price became fifty times larger, so nothing costs you more. Plans got new credit allowances.
Updated October 17, 2026
In October 2026 we changed the credit unit. Your balance is now fifty times what it was, and the price of everything is fifty times higher too, so nothing costs you more than before.

What changed
- Your balance: every credit you had became 50 credits.
- Prices: every action costs fifty times as many credits as before. An app task estimated at 2–8 credits is now estimated at 100–400 credits.
- Plans and extra credits: Free includes 500 credits a month (up to 250 a day), Starter 5,500 for $15 a month, Builder 16,500 for $45 and Pro 60,000 for $160. Extra credit packs cost the same money and hold fifty times as many credits.
Your history and expiry dates
Your credit history keeps the earlier entries exactly as they were booked, in the old unit. One entry per balance shows the change: Credit unit change ×50.
- Tasks that were running at the time of the change carry on as normal.
- Extra credits and rolled-over credits keep their expiry dates.
Why we changed it
Prices are finer now: small actions, such as a question in Discuss, cost whole credits instead of a fraction of one. Large credit amounts also match how other AI products count work, so plans are easier to compare.
Questions
Do I pay more now?
Not for what you use: your credits and every price changed by the same factor. If the price of your plan changed, you keep your current price for at least 30 days, and we tell you by email before anything changes. Pricing shows what each plan includes.
Why are the amounts in my history smaller before the change?
Earlier entries stay as they were booked, in the old unit. The Credit unit change ×50 entry converts your balance to the new unit.
Do I need to do anything?
No. The change was applied automatically to every balance, including team workspaces.
