Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-08
These terms govern your use of Craftkite (the "Service"), operated by Craftkite ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The Service
Craftkite turns descriptions into working web and mobile apps using AI agents, runs them in isolated workspaces, and lets you publish them. Features and limits depend on your plan.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us right away about any unauthorised use.
3. Your content and the code you get
- You keep all rights to what you put into the Service (descriptions, files, data).
- The code generated for you belongs to you. You may use, change, sell and publish it, including outside Craftkite, subject to the licences of open-source packages it uses.
- You give us the limited licence we need to run the Service for you: store, process, build, test, preview and publish your projects.
- We do not use your projects or prompts to train AI models, and we require our model providers not to either.
4. AI-generated output
Craftkite is an AI system: plans, code, text and images in your projects are generated by AI models, and the studio marks this wherever generated output is shown. Apps published on the Free plan carry a badge saying they were built with Craftkite and generated with AI; if you remove or replace it on a paid plan, you remain responsible for telling your users that content was AI-generated where the law requires it (for example the EU AI Act). Output is produced by AI models and may contain mistakes. Review generated apps before relying on them, especially for payments, personal data, health, legal or financial use. You are responsible for the apps you publish and for complying with the laws that apply to them.
5. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may refuse requests, hold apps for review, unpublish them or suspend accounts that break it.
6. Credits, plans and payments
- Work on apps uses credits. The credits a task uses are shown before and after it runs. Credits used by tasks that fail because of us are returned automatically.
- Monthly plan credits are added each calendar month (UTC), independent of your billing date, and expire at the end of that month; they do not carry over. Purchased extra credits are valid for 12 months.
- Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record, which also handles invoices and taxes. Paddle's terms apply to your purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds follow the Refund Policy.
7. Published apps
Published apps are reachable on the internet at the address shown in the studio, or on your own domain. We may remove apps that break these terms or the law, and we will tell you why unless the law forbids it.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is". We may change features with reasonable notice where a change materially reduces what you paid for.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time in the studio; deletion becomes final after 30 days. We may suspend or end accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the company operating Craftkite is registered. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence still apply.
12. Language
These terms may be offered in several languages. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails, unless mandatory law of your country requires otherwise.
13. Business customers
If you use the Service for an organisation, the Data Processing Addendum applies to personal data you put into the Service, and the Enterprise Service Level Agreement applies when your order form says so.
14. Copyright
We respond to copyright notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act and comparable laws, as described in the Acceptable Use Policy: formal notices, counter-notices, the designated agent (Craftkite — copyright@craftkite.com) and our repeat-infringer policy, under which accounts with repeated valid notices are suspended.
