AI labels and disclosure
Every AI video says it is AI-generated: in the file itself, in the AI-generated content label of TikTok when Craftkite publishes it, and with an ad label on advertising with child characters.
Updated October 17, 2026
Viewers have a right to know when a video was made with AI, and more and more platforms and laws ask for it. Craftkite takes care of it for you.

What is labelled
- Every AI video: a video with a talking avatar, real-people shots or AI video clips carries an “AI-generated” disclosure in its file metadata. It stays in the MP4 you download.
- TikTok: when Craftkite publishes an AI video to TikTok for you, the post’s AI-generated content label is set automatically (see Schedule and publish posts).
- Advertising with child characters: an ad label is shown on the video, in the language of the video.
Motion-graphics videos without AI footage are not labelled.
When you post yourself
If you upload the MP4 to a platform yourself, turn on its AI label where it has one, such as “AI-generated content” on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. The rules of each platform apply to your posts.
Why we do it
The disclosure cannot be switched off. It protects your viewers and your account, and it is part of Craftkite’s rules for AI video together with the likeness consent and the rules for child characters (see Build your own avatar).
