A talking avatar is a presenter who speaks your script to the camera, with lip-sync, blinks and natural head movement. Choose one in the AI video flow, or let Craftkite pick the one that fits your brief. Every scene can show the presenter in its own way.

The presenter library

Craftkite has its own library of presenters: women and men, children, teens, young adults, adults and seniors, with different looks, outfits and settings. They are fictional people made by Craftkite; none of them shows a real person. Each one has a portrait and a short preview, so you can see and hear them before you choose. Standard and Cinematic

Standard: Craftkite’s presenter engine makes the portrait speak. It is quick, works for long scripts and is priced per started minute of speech.
Cinematic: Craftkite’s video engine films the presenter speaking, with livelier expressions and movement. It is priced per second and is a premium feature.

If a cinematic take cannot be made, or a line is too long for one cinematic clip, that line is made in Standard quality instead and the difference is refunded automatically. Child and teen presenters are always made in Standard quality.

Layouts

Full: the presenter fills the frame.
Over b-roll: the presenter stands in front of a generated shot.
Picture-in-picture: the presenter appears in a round frame in a corner of the scene.
Split: the presenter on one half, the scene or the shot on the other.

Each scene can have its own layout. Pick it in the scene settings, or ask in the chat, for example “put the presenter over the video”.

Expressions and voices

Each scene has an expression: neutral, smile, serious or excited. Ask for it in the chat: “make the presenter smile more”.
Craftkite has eight voices: warm, bright, calm, deep, clear, youthful, playful and gentle. A presenter gets a voice that matches their gender and age.
For your own presenters you can choose another voice for each language. The presenter speaks the language of the video, in all eight Craftkite languages.

What it costs

Standard presenters are priced per started minute of speech and Cinematic ones per second. The current prices are in the credit table, and the quote of every video shows them before you approve.
